This creates a difficult battle for the residents of California, and is sure to continue to.
Meth abuse is a large concern of people in California, since they have the distinct accessibility that many states do not have, because it is manufactured locally. More than 65% of high school seniors stated that they have smoked marijuana, which is a direct correlation to the 9% of California children in rehabilitation centers.
When considering one of these drug treatment centers, people who want the best treatment, they should examine the center carefully. In California, with there being so many facilities promoting clean living, research should be on the forefront of the mind. While many of these programs will help, some of them will not produce the results that the addict needs to stay clean. When considering these drug treatment programs, there should be strict measures in assuring that there will not be a minimal chance of any further drug activity. Although the road is considered very long, and it is an uphill battle, there is relief in sight.
